ANTsInformation about the Aihoku Amateur Radio Club
Our club was established in Ichinomiya City in 1961 and has been holding
various events and community activities, but in recent years we faced a
decline in members and an aging membership, and we urgently needed to revamp
it. New leadership members were elected in April 2024 and began building the
new JA2YAK, and we have since completed a club shack where people of all ages
and genders can gather. The concept is to provide a place where members from
4th to 1st amateurs can participate in domestic and international contests
and pursue DX while drinking coffee (and sometimes alcohol) and can get
together to socialize and exchange techniques with each other. If you are
interested, please contact us in advance and we will welcome you to visit. We
look forward to welcoming those who share our love for amateur radio.
